"CREEPIN IN" -THE NEW HALLOWEEN SONG - October 1, 2007

"CREEPIN IN" - The New Halloween Song.

After growing up for many years listening to The Monster Mash and the even more impacting, Michael Jackson's Thriller, I wanted to create something that would also become a classic Halloween Song.

It's a fun, catchy Hip Hop Halloween Song for the whole family. It's inuendo is geared for kids over 13 who would appreciate it. But, the inuendo will go right over the heads of younger children and they will purely enjoy the bounce of the beats and high quality production sounds.

I felt that I could certainly use some undercover inuendo to entertain the adult listeners.

There's no swearing or cussing in

"CREEPIN IN"
, but there are a couple lyrics about kissing and a reference to panties and bras at the end. These are natural healthy events and items in anyone's life who's 13+. So, I felt the references were appropriate. Besides, Halloween Songs can be a little naughty due to the season eh?.

The rhymes in
"CREEPIN IN"
are simple and straightforward and the wordplay is clever sometimes. It was not a track that was meant to knock people off their seats with intricate lyrical backflips. It was meant to lightly and continuously entertain folks during the Halloween season.

Hopefully it's rap style verse and movie-like production quality will sustain it as a Classic Halloween Song over the coming decade or so. The track took over two years to produce and master. The only thing I would change is the volume of the the wolf howls in the chorus. Perhaps, you will howl with the music and no one will notice. ;-)

Well,
"CREEPIN IN"
- The Halloween Song, has been released into the public distribution channels (iTunes, etc.) and is getting great responses.

One could expect the growth to be steady over the next couple years until it becomes a mainstay Halloween Song next to the before mentioned classics. Wow! Maybe Michael and I could bob for apples....um nevemind. Scratch that. How bout we just shoot for similar sales success? Yeah.

Happy Halloween! Party Great!

FreeFlow - March 13, 2007

My brother in charms! I'm sick the last two days so no talking or rhymes for me. But, I was thinking about our discussion for the future. Let me put it this way. A dime for a dollar, to makes the kids hollar for some love up above, they need a shove. Old school new school I'm the fool bout to jump up with yahru and bang some drums no need for TUMS I keep it chill so my body's intact that's a fact, I'm bout to be backed by some progressive dub in the club to make the booties shake all while we smile with the conscious points we make. shoot me an email back and let's create a time to meet at your studio peace and wealth, mc Bhudda

Note: All random lyrics and flows are on the CHILL LOG Feel free to drop some verse.

"hARMONY" - January 6, 2007

mc Bhudda BOUNCE and Drew Beatz have been collaborating on the new socially conscious and racially harmonious jam,
"hARMONY". It's strentgh is only increased with the female vocals of Cynthia DeLaria lifting it higher.

It's a strong, poignant song about how we all have bad experiences with another person. Then, we sometimes mistakenly typecast everyone else in that same race, religion, or color for being bad or mistakenly good.
The hook says it all:
"We rockin' into harmony and social growth. That's my owth.
Ebony and Ivory. Unity is free ya see.
This is just me, just me, just me, just me."

With a hot new beat track and new rhythms, this may be the one that takes mc Bhudda BOUNCE to the top.

It is expected to be one of the top selling singles on the "White Rapper's White Hip Hop" CD. TM 2007

Black Brown White Rap by White Rappers? - October 9, 2006

Can a white guy from the ghetto do good rap? Can a white guy rap? That's like asking if a black guy can do well in school.
Of course anyone can do anything. New Hip Hop is the way. It make take some time and practice, but a white boy, can use rhythm and rapper skills to create a great song or tell a great story.
The problem with white rappers, Eminem, Paul Wall, Bubba Sparxx, is that they have to have some background in the streets or the ghetto to rap about that subject. If they don't have it, they shouldn't rap about it just because they heard somewhere else.
Vanilla Ice gave the white rappers a hard setback. He did a popular song that wasn't true. He was a white rapper who had never experienced any kind of ghetto living and from then on, people didn't trust white rappers to be telling the real story.
Eminem was one of the first to truly talk about the tragedy of his life in a poor area. That mixed with the support of a Megastar black icon, Dr Dre, gave him the the crack in the door to be heard and respected.
The folly of many white rappers in the game nowadays is that they think if they grab a dictionary and rhyme words in a clever way, they got the skills to succeed. Just the opposite. It's about the experience and heat of the experience that makes a song great. It's the sharing of life when it's hard and overcoming the odds that make it great. The cleverness of wordplay is secondary. Really.
Ironically, "Old School rap" used be about storytelling and the party and adventure. It was used laugh instead of cry about the difficult situations. The Fat Boyz are a classic example. They told stories about breaking into the pizza store at night and demolishin' the supply.
Street credit isn't white or black or hispanic, it's life experiences written down and expressed through music. It doesn't t even have to be hip hop style music. It can be rock n roll, jazz, blues, pop or techno. The difference with hip hop is that the audience demands the stories be real.
Kanye West was a middle class black rapper who made $60,000 when he was in his teens. Do audiences need to hear about his "street credit"? If he was a white rapper he sure would ....we'll cover that subject later. But, for the record, "I ain't sayin; she's a gold digga, but she ain't messin' wit no broke N.....". He is makin, hits.

Mispelled - June 9, 2005

Bhudda is spelled so many ways.
Budda Bounce
Buddha Bounce
Buda Bounce.
All are options for the rapper that likes laughing.
"What can you do? Schwarzenegger was probably mispelled for a long time."
Buddha is the way most people spell it. Just like the religious icon. But, Bhudda BOUNCE and Buddha are not the same. New Hip Hop.
