Hi,
Nice to meet you. I've heard your music and I really like it. I'm a music-lover and I make music myself; I rap as well, and I know how easy it is to connect people with rap music. I feel that we as musicians have the obligation to do something to change the world. Not for any visible benefit, but for something real.
I think it'd be awesome to have a rap song that features people from different backgrounds in the world talking about a universal theme. It will make people feel closer to each other and alleviate the tensions between us. I was surprised to find out that no one has done such thing before, and I think it's time that we start to do this.
Here's what I have in mind: it's kinda like an extended remix, and it's gonna feature rappers from all over the world (we've got rappers from 27 nations so far). The theme of the song is world peace, and each one raps about 8-16 lines about that theme.
It ain't so hard, really. You don't have to make a hit or perform for a concert. All you gotta do is to write down whatever on your mind about world peace and record it when you go to the studio. It may only take 10 minutes. Or you can just freestyle it right now and record it. Just about 8-16 lines (20 - 45 seconds) -- don't make it too long unless it's needed. You don't need big punch lines; you can just tell it like it is.
You can talk about your culture/religion/race/homeland/homies, dispel some misunderstandings, and you can offer some suggestions to the solutions of the problems. You can talk about peace in your community, and you can talk about peace in the world. Just don't attack other people/culture/religion/race/countries. English is preferable, but if you wanna rap in your own language please feel free to do so. You can also mix your own language with English when you spit.
